Application Process
Step 1
Submit your completed application form and all the required supporting documents online.

Required Supporting Documents:
  • Copy of Hong Kong Identity Card of the key shareholder and all full-time staff
  • Copy of Business Registration (BR) Certificate of the applicant company
  • For a Limited Company, a copy of the following:
    i. Certificate of Incorporation (CI),
    ii. Articles of Association (AA)/ Memorandum & Articles of Association) (M&A),
    iii. Form NNC1/ NC1 or NAR1/ AR1

    For an Unlimited Company, a copy of the following:
    i. Form 1(c) (for Partnership) or
       Form 1(a) (for Sole Proprietorship)
  • Copy of Academic certificate(s)/ Transcript(s) of the key shareholder
  • Employment contract(s)/Business card(s) of all staff
  • Social media accounts' URLs of the applicant company
  • SKU list of the applicant company
  • Audit report/ tax return form/ bank statements from past 12 months of the applicant company
  • Completed PPT. /PDF. of Business Plan of the applicant company with file size under 10MB (Download Link of Template)
  • TransUnion Limited Credit Report from no more than 3 months before its application date

Form 1(c) & 1(a) can be obtained from the Inland Revenue Department

Suitable applicants will be shortlisted and invited to attend a due diligence meeting with the Digital Economy Accelerator Secretariat to review all relevant original documents, including the applicant company registration, educational background, and work experience of the shareholders and full-time staff. The shortlisted applicants are also required to sign an agreement with the Digital Economy Accelerator Secretariat that lists the obligations and responsibilities of the applicants (if selected) for participating in the programme, such as attendance rate requirement, terms and conditions for funding, undertaking, etc.

Step 3
Selected applicants will be notified by email by July 24, 2023
Application Fee
The application is free, but to ensure the participants’ engagement, a refundable deposit of HK$1,000 for each participant will be charged by HKDC. If the participant meets the requirements listed below, the HK$1,000 will be refunded after one month upon completion of the programme. Otherwise, HKDC has the right to retain the deposit. The participants are required to:
- Attend at least 12 hours of training at Training Stage
- Attend at least 7 hours of training at Pilot Stage
- Attend 2 hours of group mentorship at Pilot Stage
- Attend 6 hours of 1-on-1 mentorship at Actualisation Stage (for those participants who successfully advance to this stage)
